5th Community Meeting for the new Library building

On Feb. 10th, updated floor plans were presented, along with preliminary images of the interior and exterior, including a two-story glass wall to face the Park: A 6th Community Meeting is planned before Fall 2025. In the interim, the exterior and interior design will be refined, with the expectation of putting the design out for construction bids in the fall, with construction starting at the end of the year and continuing for 18-24 months before occupancy.

See a full report here from FOSEL attendees, including a summary of questions and comments from the audience. The BPL's website has the slide deck (pdf file) and a recording of the meeting.

We have preliminary dates for the return of Pat Loomis and Friends, who perform a mix of jazz and blues: 7/1, 7/15, 7/29, 8/12, 8/26.
