Tuesday July 12th was an exciting day for the neighborhoods of the South End / Lower Roxbury in Boston.

Letter to the Editor

February 20, 2019 Dear Friends and Neighbors,

As someone who was born and raised in the South End/ Lower Roxbury neighborhood along Harrison Avenue back in the days before gentrification came in and changed housing patterns, and not so much for the good.

We hope you'll join us and thousands of other members of the arts community and vote in favor of Question 3 on November 6. The question, if approved by voters, will keep the 2016 Massachusetts civil rights law for transgender residents on the books.

I saw the front page news story on the Trinity Financial Open House celebration in last week's South End News.

Lately there has been lots of news in our neighborhood about senseless violence and killings that are reportedly gang connected.
